Katie is a proud (and rare) Colorado native who grew up in Aurora and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. She wears her heart on her sleeve and has a dry sense of humor that is hard not to love. In her spare time, she loves exploring new breweries, going on picnics, and continuing her quest to find the best pizza in the Denver area. So far the one to beat is Blue Pan Pizza if you were wondering.
Her husband, Brendan, and 2-year-old daughter, Avery, are her world. Katie prides herself in being a good role model and mom for her daughter. Katie is also proud in how she is always challenging herself through progressing in her professional journey. She took a few detours figuring out her true passion, but she says that she doesn’t regret any of it. Every educational choice and career has led her to where she is now and she is proud of everything she has overcome to get her to this point.
Katie went to college at Colorado State University. Go Rams! She received a Bachelors in Fine Art with a concentration in Pottery and continued on to receive an Associates in Applied Science in Multimedia and Graphic Design. Not only that, but she has a certification in Elementary Education!
When working with Katie, you will quickly realize that she is the perfect balance of hard-working and fun. She is intuitive and creative in problem-solving, but don’t think she won’t slip in a sarcastic joke here and there! After all, work should be something you can have fun while still being successful, and Katie does it effortlessly. She is easy-going and will always put her clients at the forefront, but she also has the work ethic to get things done. In the future, she hopes to continue learning and polishing her design skills on the Marketing Team at CHR. In a way, her persistence in her professional career is parallelled with the quest for the best pizza in Denver. She is passionate and will continue to push because there will always be something new to find and learn.
Katie’s words to live by: Trust your journey. Know that every choice, good or bad, leads you to where you are supposed to be.
