Born in New York but raised in Colorado, Heather has drive, determination and a love for adventure in her DNA. Her oldest is currently competing nationally in motocross (ranked 20th) with his younger brother not far behind! She has a twin sister who also sells real estate for Colorado Home Realty, and their late mother was and continues to be Heather’s biggest inspiration. She faithfully demonstrated sacrificial giving and love to all those around her and taught that nothing in life comes easy but with hard work, honesty, communication and listening, you will find success. As a result, Heather never wants to stop learning, growing and improving – both personally and professionally – and loves reading inspiration books to facilitate that goal. (One of her favorites is The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann.) Heather is also inspired by the actor Matthew McConaughey. He has a drive and need to always be the absolute best at everything he does and when he achieves a goal, he's already looking towards the next challenge ahead. He says he needs three things each day: something to look up to, something to look forward to and someone to chase – words Heather takes to heart and tries to apply to her own life and business. Heather loves motocross, snow and water skiing, mountain biking, yoga and working out. Prior to real estate, she competed for and traveled with the Winter Park Ski Team for two years, making it to Nationals skiing moguls, achieving a dream she had since her youth. Prior to children, she and her husband raced and won championships in motocross. While it was a great achievement for them both, the best part was the travel it allowed and all the wonderful people they met along the way. Now they enjoy traveling all over the US for their boys’ national racing events. She’s a true Colorado sports fan, enjoying watching the Broncos, Avalanche, and Nuggets, and loves taking in the annual Stock Show, and an occasional movie or concert at Red Rocks. And on those rare occasions when she slows down, you might even find her painting or drawing.
